We get a lot of snacks for review, but it is not often that you get to hear from a company that is enthusiastic and super sweet. Chunkie Dunkies has the nicest people I have encountered. I bet the costumer services are stellar. Seriously!
Now, let us talk about the snacks. Basically Chunkie Dunkies makes raw cookies. They come in a variety of flavors. What I thought was distinctive about these cookies was that they were the same size as a regular cookie. They did not look “weird.” They looked like regular cookies. They also did not taste like dough (as much as I love dough, it gets pretty tiresome to taste the same thing over and over). They are also less than 50 calories. How cool is that! So, it is guilt-free food, really.
You would think with low calories like that, the cookies would taste bad, but honestly, the flavors were lovely. My favorite one was the Mint Chocolate Chip cookie. Oh my goodness, folks, it tasted like real chocolate. I even tested it with my non-vegan family. The mint was a wonderful touch. It was really refreshing, very delicious, and I was so sad that I ate it all!
But that was okay, because there was another Chocolate Fudge one, which was absolutely delicious. The chocolate flavor was nice and not overpowering.
Next favorite was the Almond Butter Crunch. It definitely had a buttery taste, but it was not heavy on the stomach. It is definitely a good snack to have.
The Oatmeal Raisin one was lovely as well. There was a tiny bit of salt that was slightly overpowering. That was my only problem with that one. But, you know, they were all tasty.
You should definitely give Chunkie Dunkies a try, especially with the holidays right around the corner!
