Last year, Chic Vegan interviewed Linh Le, founder of Le Splendour, a wonderful company that makes vegan and organic skin care and cosmetics products. We were recently contacted to try some of her newest creations from the Nature Fresh Garden collection and I was happy to be the test subject. Read on for our review.
The Organic Foaming Facial Cleanser is very nice. It contains the essential oil ylang-ylang and has a very subtle scent. A couple of pumps creates a lot of foam and the cleanser glides smoothly over your skin. It cleans well and I didn’t feel any tightness in my skin after use.
If you are looking for a new option for your eyes, Le Splendour offers two options. They can be used separately or together. The Organic Depuffing Eye Serum is not something I’ve ever seen. Packaged in a small bottle (if anyone remembers Maybelline Kissing Potion, that’s what it looks like), you simply roll the tip under your eyes, from the inner to the outer corners, once or twice a day, or as needed. I’m not sure if it actually de-puffed my eyes, but it did make them feel very fresh. The roller feels cool against your skin and the serum is very light. I can imagine carrying this in my purse, so I have it handy when I need to wake up during a long day at work.
The Organic Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream was my favorite. It isn’t greasy and you only need a dab to help fill in those pesky age lines. The cute little pump bottle is nice, too.
The last product I tried was the Organic Anti Aging Serum. This is very similar to many other serums I’ve tried. It’s nice, but I liked the eye products more.
All of these products are certified Organic by USDA, certified Vegan by Vegan Action, and certified Green America. More great products from a great company. Visit the website to see what else Le Splendour has to offer, including one of my favorites, the Organic Rosewater Facial Toner.
