I first discovered Crazy Rumors lip balm several years ago while looking for vegan lip balms online. It can be difficult to find lip balms made without animal products, as honey seems to be an ingredient favored by most manufacturers.
There are balms that are cruelty-free, but they contain questionable ingredients that I don’t want anywhere near my mouth. Crazy Rumors balms contain 100% natural ingredients such as organic shea butter, organic jojoba oil, and non-gmo soy wax. These little balms glide on smooth and silky, are long lasting, and provide much needed moisture in the cooler months.
Even though I’m not a coffee drinker, when I first discovered Crazy Rumors it was their Perk coffee collection that piqued my interested. I liked the sound of their mocha and amaretto lip balms, so I ordered one of each. I quickly became hooked. I’ve been an Amaretto Crazy Rumors devotee ever since. Who can resist the rich flavors of almond and vanilla in a creamy lip balm? When Crazy Rumors asked if I wanted to try their fall flavors collection, I just couldn’t say no.
Bee My Honey – Despite the name, Bee My Honey is actually bee-free. I’m not sure how Crazy Rumors was able to recreate the sweet and smell and taste without harming any bees, but they did it!
Star Anise – This balm brought to mind mulled wine and hot apple cider with its licorice-like anise flavor.
Orange Clove – I’m not a big fan of clove, so I must admit that was reluctant try this one, but I gave it a go anyway, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was quite tasty. It’s citrusy with just a hint of spice.
Candy Corn – Candy corn used to be quintessentially autumn to me, but once I went vegan I had to give it up. This limited edition lip balm is reminiscent of everyone’s favorite Halloween sweet treat.
The Crazy Rumors Harvest Collection is available on the Crazy Rumors website along with all of their other tasty flavors.
