Earlier this year, So Delicious Dairy Free changed the recipe for their CoconutMilk Coffee Creamers. Because of customer concerns, they removed carrageenan and titanium dioxide, but some customers weren’t too happy with the results, so they went back into the kitchen to tinker with the recipe. The improved creamers that are the results of that tinker are now available in stores across the U.S. I really love that So Delicious listens to the customer input, and they make changes based on what they hear. I wish more companies followed their lead.
The CoconutMilk Coffee Creamers are available in three flavors: French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Original. All three flavors come in pint-sized containers, and French Vanilla and Original can be found in quarts as well. All are made with organic, non-gmo certified coconut milk. They’re dairy-free (of course), as well as being free of carrageenan, and titanium dioxide. You won’t find any artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors, or preservatives in them either. I’m not a big coffee drinker, but I do think that creamers taste delicious in my afternoon pick-me-up Teeccino.
And because it’s the holiday season, the So Delicious holiday drinks are now available too. The line consists of not only nog, but also pumpkin spice, and mint chocolate coconut milk. I like that they’re available in shelf stable packaging this year, which means I can stock up (because the grocery stores around me only seems to have them for about a week and a half. Like the CoconutMilk Coffee Creamers, the Coconut Milk Holiday Beverages are made with organic coconut, and are soy-free, dairy-free, gluten-free and gmo-free. In addition to drinking the milks plain, you can also use them in place of milk when baking or cooking to give your holiday creations a flavor boost. I like to use nog when making holiday snickerdoodles, and for those of you who are pumpkin spice latte fans, the pumpkin spice milk makes an excellent coffee creamer.
