Nothing screams summer more than fresh, light, cool ingredients to enjoy on a hot, sunny day. When summertime rolls around, I start craving bright and tasty salads. This Summertime Salad is not only delicious, but it’s full of color, antioxidants, and healthy ingredients to keep you full, satisfied, and energized!
Summertime Salad:
Makes approximately 2 salads. 6 fresh strawberries, sliced 1 handful blueberries 2 tsps hemp seeds 1/2 cup almonds, sliced or chopped 1 large cucumber, chopped 2 cups/handfuls mixed greens 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar 1 tbsp grapeseed oil pinch salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp italian seasonings or oregano .Whisk together vinegar, oil, salt, garlic powder, and seasonings. Add other ingredients into two bowls. Top with dressing. Voila! A healthy and dleicious summertime salad
